This Alaskan Airlines commercial is spectacular. I literally laughed out loud (that’s “LOL” for the kids out there) at John Spencer bossing around air passengers with his Scottish brogue. Speaking of which, following are a couple translations for you in case you’re as confused by heavy Scottish accents as Siri…
- Haggis traps: slang for mouths (obviously) originating from traditional Scottish, sheep-organ sausage.
- Right prat: simply an idiot.
I’ve been blathering a lot about Portland Timbers marketing lately. This happens to be an Alaskan Airlines commercial, but it still features the Timbers and it’s quite funny.

This is my favorite Siri mockery to date. I love Siri but it’s ripe for the picking in the world of comedy. And Gavin McInnes kills it with this fake commercial related to Scotland’s recent issues with Siri.
Before watching this I wasn’t even aware of Gavin’s existence. And what really surprised me was hearing him speak outside of this video, whereby he has no Scottish accent. I’m sure having Glaswegian parents helped him pull it off, but his emulation is impressive all the same. And damn funny. I’ve watched this probably 10 times.
